Dynadress Bacti Swab – Unleashing Antiseptic Excellence!
Product Description:
Dynadress Bacti Swab, a soft antiseptic gauze dressing, emerges as the ultimate barrier between wounds and secondary dressings. Serving as the ideal contact layer dressing, it is low adherent, facilitating fluid drainage to a secondary dressing. Infused with chlorhexidine acetate antiseptic, it releases gradually, ensuring a prolonged action against bacteria.
Indications:
- Minor burns, grazes, lacerations, and abrasions
- Recipient graft sites
- Infected wounds in conjunction with prescribed medicine
Instructions for Use:
- Carefully clean the wound and surrounding area following clinical protocols.
- Select the appropriate dressing size and peel open the pouch.
- Using gloves or forceps, remove the dressing from the protector paper.
- Secure the dressing over the wound or affected area and apply a secondary dressing to fix.
- Change daily or more frequently based on the wound condition.
- If the dressing adheres to the wound, gently soak it off with sterile saline solution.
Contraindications:
- Anaphylactic reactions to chlorhexidine are extremely rare but have been detected.
- Do not use on patients with a known sensitivity to chlorhexidine.
- Avoid contact with eyes, middle ear, and brain.
- Do not use with soap, oxidizing wound cleaning agents, or potassium iodide.
- Seek immediate medical advice if redness or irritation occurs.
